Can Movebot move Box Notes files and other proprietary file types into SharePoint?

Yes, but with a caveat. Since SharePoint doesn’t support these files, Movebot will automatically convert these into JSON. All the data will be there, but it includes formatting in JSON.

How long will my migration take?

Migration speed involves a number of factors such as the size and number of files to be moved. Typically, this type of migration will see a few terabytes moved per day.

What happens if I need to add more files to the Box account while the migration is running?

Users can continue working in Box even while the migration is in progress thanks to advanced delta migrations that only move new and updated files. You can run as many deltas as you need until all files are successfully up to date.

How does Movebot handle duplicate files?

Movebot has content transformation features enabled by default to ensure that you can move files that would be duplicate from Box to SharePoint. These features can be disabled if you wish to make adjustments manually.
