Can Movebot move Google Docs files and other proprietary file types that can be stored in Box?

Yes. Although SharePoint doesn’t support these files, Movebot can automatically convert these file types to a Microsoft Office equivalent so they can be used in SharePoint.

How long will my migration take?

Migration speed involves a number of factors such as the size and number of files to be moved. But when SharePoint Ludicrous Mode is enabled you can typically see a few terabytes moved per day.

What happens if I need to add more files to the Box account while the migration is running?

Users can continue working in Box even while the migration is in progress thanks to advanced delta migrations that only move new and updated files. You can run as many deltas as you need until all files are successfully up to date.

How does Movebot handle duplicate files?

Movebot has content transformation features enabled by default to ensure that you can move files that would be duplicate from Box to SharePoint. These features can be disabled if you wish to make adjustments manually.
