Movebot works using a scaling pricing system. The first TB will be billed at the top rate, while 2-5TB will be the first TB at the 1TB rate plus the rest at the 2-5TB rate and so on.

For example, a 25TB migration would cost $12,250 and would be broken down like this: 1TB at $0.75/GB $750, 1TB at $0.70/GB $700, 3TB at $0.60/GB $1800, 15TB at $0.50/GB $7500, 5TB at $0.30/GB $1500. 750+700+1800+7500+1500=$12,250. Use the pricing calculator above to get a precise estimate.

No. We believe that scanning is an essential part of a successful migration, so we don’t charge for it. Run scans as often as you like at no cost and start the migration once you’re confident and ready to go.

No. Movebot charges at a per GB rate and will charge you for the amount of data used. If you purchased data packs and don't have enough packs, you will get a warning at the scanning page and will either need to have a credit card on file or add additional data packs before the migration will run.

Movebot handles all the infrastructure for you, so there’s no need to set up or manage virtual machines, updates, or anything like that. This is a core benefit of Movebot and not something we charge for.

Nothing. Movebot doesn’t charge for users, only for the amount of data moved. The cost is the same whether that data is files, emails, contacts, or calendar data.
